New snow loading on Waterhouse

Toured up Waterhouse Peak today, stuck to low angle terrain per the avalanche advisory. Skinned the NE ridge, skied first lap on N-facing terrain, second lap on E-facing terrain. Snow was quite deep and challenging to skin (and ski, without a steeper pitch). Overall, more sharks on E-facing slopes at and below treeline. Winds were gusty, up to 45+ mph at times; blowing snow as a result. Seemed to be swirling in this location; at times were out of the NW, other gusts out of the E and S. Was snowing the entire time we were out (9 AM-1 PM), with snowfall intensity increasing as the day progressed. Many large whumphs throughout the day; heard one large one that sounded like it came from Powderhouse around 9:30 AM, several others that seemed further away and at higher elevation in the mid-morning, and then several sequential whumphs (again, nearby but maybe on other adjacent peaks to the south of us) around 12:30 PM. Dug a pit on our second lap (see attached snowpit); as described in the avalanche advisory and discussed in observations, found signifcant new snow loading (~2.5 ft) on old MF crusts with faceting grains in between. PST: collapse less than 1/2 way up the length of the column, but collapse didn't propogate entirely to the end of the column (again, see attached snowpit). Upon returning to the car, skin track in the meadow was completely refilled (didn't appear anyone else had used ours).
