New indications of likely fracture propagation on the basal facet layer. Temperature gradient within the lower portion of the snowpack increased over the last few days, switching from a rounding regime to a faceting regime. Deep slab avalanches could occur in this area if the right trigger is placed in the right spot on a slope with this snowpack.
