Hidden Peak Snow observations

Stronger winds at and above tree line are moving snow and creating wind slabs at the ridgeline on cornices and below in the upper elevation trees.  The party in front of us may have triggered the slab below the cornice when touring uphill just off to the side or it may have triggerd by itself. Unknown?   While we converted on the summit a party on Jakes skied the obvious wind loaded slope on the steepest portion of the ridgeline and caused a small soft slab avalanche on the second turn. Looked like the 2nd or 3rd person onto the slope. Some details observable in picture.  As we skied off the summit several small wind slabs were observed on convex slopes, more wind effected snow pockets were found until below treeline became consistent and not effected by wind tranport and density layers.  Minor cracking around edge of ski breaking trail in these areas.  No other signs of instability noted.
