Powderhouse North Short

Toured up the north side of Powderhouse with an AIARE 1 class to do some moving, weather, snowpack observations as well as stability tests. We found a spot that was not tracked-up, hard to do in this area, to do our observations. We got results (CTM Q2 about 40cm down) within the storm snow, most likely a temperature/rate change which was not surprising. More interesting, we got CT results on the Jan 26th layer (CTM Q2 and PST40/100 End about 72cm down). Most interesting, we saw results on the old Dec 11 layer (2 x CTH Q1, ECTP23 see the video, and a PST 60/100 End all at about 100cm down) on large facets (2+mm).
