Incline Lake Peak Tour

We toured up Inclne Peak from the old lakebed and stopped at about 9100' to dig a quick pit.  We found between 170n - 220cm of snow, depending on where we probed.  The snow depth varied a lot within just a few meters.  The new snow was about 50cm deep, on top of a very firm layer that was about 10cm thick, at 160cm from the ground. Below this the snow was firm (finger to pencil) untl the final 10cm or so when it was fairly rotten.  

We didn't see any signs of instabilty, other than a few rollerballs at the very end of our tour.  Even up on the lee side of the ridge we didn't see much in the way of wind slabs. 

North facing slopes in the trees skied quite well (for April)!
