Warming snow and rollers on Jake's Peak

Yesterdlay a friend and I skied Jake's Peak, the South face above Emerald Bay. We got on the snow about 9 am. It was warm and sunny from the beginning, and after summiting we decended one of the steep south facing chutes. The snow was very deep slush, "mashed potatoes", and in skiing we caused many large roller balls to form. We got off the mountain quickly, but it seemed that with much more warming, loose wet slides could be an issue.
