Warm Conditions on Thunder Mountain

Toured from Silver Lake up to Thunder Mountain and descended the south side of the mountain. Snow at lower elevations was powdery but quite heavy and wet in sections by mid-day. Top of mountain was fairly wind scoured, with the expected cornices on the lip of the north bowl. Coming down the slope, saw some large roller balls at mid to lower elevations. In the trees, lots of melting snow on trees raining down onto the powder below. Didn't see any evidence of instability whatsoever, but warming is definitely happening rapidly.
