Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 
N to NE facing terrain still holding good unconsolidated snow from 7500-9000'.  The solar aspects E-S had a ski only supportable crust through the mid day, most of these aspects had roller ball activity in the steeper areas from previous days.  No signs of instability on these aspects today, coverage on these solar aspects still feels marginal.  A test pit done at 8000' NE aspect showed the 1/25 rain crust with 12'' of snow on top.  The density change is almost not a density change anymore, I had a CTH at this interface, 2-3'' above the rain crust.  No results on the 1/25 rain crust.  Skied lots of terrain today with a variety of aspects and elevations with no signs of instability.      Photo: S/SE facing terrain showing roller ball activity in steeper terrain.
