These observations document past conditions at a small and variable scale. They are not to be confused with an avalanche forecast. They come from a variety of sources. We can only vouch for the quality of those produced by the SAC forecasters and professional observers.

Luther Pass Area (including Job and Freel) 		Following a skin track someone made yesterday there was only a trace of new snow below in the trees. The same skin track in an above treeline wind loaded zone was nearly obscured by wind transported snow. I spent a bunch of time looking over my shoulder at the Little Roundtop area for evidence of recent avalanche activity but couldn't see any. Lots of evidence of wind slab on the ridge. The wind loaded slopes in this zone are small but wind slabs were breaking nearly to their full size (albeit fairly small here). Fridge ish size chunk of cornice easily broke. Professional Observer
