Luther Pass Area (including Job and Freel) 		Minor settlement cracks observed around trees. Occasional glimpses of blue sky. A semi protected near treeline test slope with failure directly below my ski but no propagation. This nearly flat slope on the summit ridge receives quite a bit of sun and the snow was heavy and grippy. Impressive propagation on the this obvious wind loaded slope on the summit ridge. ECTN at the noted lat/long, a NW aspect, near treeline, at 8,800'. 70 cm of recent storm snow above the melt-freeze crust. HS 300cm Newly formed, small cornices near treeline. Recent strom snow from the past 5 days ranged from 27 to 30 inches along the Castle Rd in several hand pits between 7,400' and 7,800'. Forecaster
